East Anglian Cup: Two goals from Manlee Brown, after five and 64 minutes, saw Tilbury through to another final. The final score was Tilbury 2, Royston Town 0 Already winners of the Ryman League Cup this season, the Dockers do not yet know their final opponents with the other semi-final due to be played next Tuesday with the final on the following Friday or Saturday.

The result didn’t do justice to the performance as the Dockers kept the Essex Senior side in their own half for long periods of the game.

An appeal was made on behalf of the Essex side which was upheld which allowed the game finally to kick off against Ryman Premier League high flyers Staines Town on Wednesday March 4.
