WHAT a crass idea from Thurrock Council, to leave the gates unlocked to parks and cemeteries so anyone can go in there overnight and vandalise til their hearts content. You can't call the police to get rid of these people as they are suffering cuts so will only react to major incidents. So will the council be paying out more than it is saving by putting right the mess that will be ultimately left behind once the parks and cemeteries are open all day?  − Freddy K, Grays
