Tilbury FC have their own share of footballing problems at present.
The Dockers are being looked into by the FA over allegations made over administrative irregularities at the club. And the club owner is in dispute with ex-Tilbury boss Graham Chester and Mark Southgate who both want Tilbury to remain as a members club with a new administrative structure. Latest news is that there will be a meeting between the FA and club trustees and directors at Chadfields on May 28 at 11am.
A supporters meeting was held at the Ship Pub in Little Thurrock yesterday (Thursday).
New Tilbury boss Paul Vaughan is hoping to sign Jack West, 23, a striker from Redbridge and Jack’s brother, centre half Sam West, 21.
