THE MATCH: After a flying start to the season, East Thurrock United will be looking to get back their league form back on track tomorrow.

Without a win in the National League South since September 11, Rocks have drawn their last three in the league and sit seventh in the standings.

Now their FA Cup exertions have come to an end for the season, John Coventry’s men can turn their attentions to the league.

And with four of their next five matches at home this is a good opportunity to get back on the horse.

Hemel Hempstead have won their last two in the league to climb a point and a place above tomorrow’s opponents, and are a team in good form.

They won this fixture 3-2 last season.

THE INSIGHT: “We want to get back to picking up some of the results we were getting early on,” said Coventry. “We need to win our home matches and we have had a lot of good results away from home.

“It is hard to get the wins at home but we are playing good sides every week. You can’t look where you might get points. We are in this league and have been beaten once so I cannot possibly think we should be doing better. Expectations rise for others but not in my eyes.

“Hemel are constantly improving and we will have Charlie Sheringham to deal with, among others, and he is a good player.

“It will be a game of football.”

THE TEAM NEWS: New striker Tom Richardson is suspended, Ben Marlow and Sammy Knott are out. Reece Harris should return after missing the midweek cup win.
