Aveley 1-0 Barkingside
From Mill Field
Ryman One North
AVELEY edged to a single goal victory over Barkingside to record their fourth win in the last six matches.
Justin Gardner’s men have been impressive in recent weeks and secured three more points against Barkingside, who now sit 10 points adrift in the relegation places with just four matches remaining.
It was a tight game, with defences coming out on top for much of the first half.
Indeed, it looked as though the away side were going to come away from the match with a point until the final 15 minutes.
The Millers had David Fallah to thank as he struck home the winner with 12 minutes remaining and take Aveley to 60 points.
Aveley: Marrable, Dunn, Olliwatimilenhim (Conway), Coyne, Okwera, Edwards, Nash, Retkoceri (Asante), Tobon (Pindy), Fallah, Seymour
