BOXING: BIG-HEARTED Gateway ABC members were delighted to make a donation to Thurrock’s ‘Help Reece Walk’ campaign.
The clubs committee members met Reece's mum Laura at the Rotary Club Charity Dinner in 2011 and pledged to do something to help raise the £45,000 target required for the youngster’s operation in US.
The monies were raised by Gateway ABC members and their families through various events and Reece's mum, Laura, together with Reece himself visited the club recently to accept the funds.
Gateway gym squad members made the family welcome and handed over their donation of £1,000.
