PIGEONS: TILBURY North Road FC’s race from Retford saw eight members entered 165 birds. Taking top spot for the second time this season was John Benton who was placed 1st and 6th on 1394 and 1341; 2nd, 4th and 5th North Family 1390, 1379 and 1349; 3rd Harry and Margaret Leeman 1386.
Pride of Tilbury’s Newark race on Saturday: 1st, 2nd and 4th S Ager, 3rd and 6th J Parkhill, 5th R and J Moss.
