CRICKET: Horndon on the Hill beat Stanford le Hope by 73 runs in the Thurrock derby.
Hordon were bowled out for 170, with Mike Canavon top-scoring with 56 runs.
Liam Hubbard also added 44 while Matthew Higgins, Christo Otto and Gary Sanderson all took three wickets.
But Stanford struggled with the bat and were dismissed for just 97 with Jack Marson, Hubbard and Jeff West claiming three wickets each.
