BELHUS clung on to to secure a share of the points with Buckhurst Hill in Shepherd Neame Essex League Division One.

Visitors Buckhurst Hill scored 205 all out, with Max Osborne (4-73) and Connor Day (3-45) the most prolific with the ball.

Joe Joyce top scored with 52 for Belhus, who only had three batsmen reach double figures.

But Danny Norris and Day negotiated the final few overs to secure points.

Belhus were 85 run winners against Fives & Heronians, Zak Wilson top scoring (95) en route to 257/8 declared.

Fives were all out for 172, with Antonio Darrell ending on 4-41.

Belhus 3s beat Chingford 3s by 64 runs, following an expert display with the ball.

Having only put 166 runs on the board, Belhus needed a good start and they got just that.

Six of the Chingford batsmen were out for a duck, with Ali Butt (54) scoring more than half of the away team’s runs.
