STANFORD-le-Hope remain fourth in the SNEL Division Three table following their three-wicket defeat at home to Ardleigh Green.
Martin Leslie (88) and Michael Gray (38) put the Stanford innings on a firm footing.
Jack Carter (19) and Page (15) provided valuable assistance in the middle order as four wickets went cheaply.
Adam Knight (15) and Matthew Higgins (11) kept the tail wagging before the hosts were bowled out for 211 in 45 overs.
Muhammad Asif (5-37) was Stanford’s main tormentor, while Simon Jeffries took 3-52 for Ardleigh Green.
Adam Knight bowled opener Jon Bayfield for one but Tom Gentle (64) and Choudhry Mahboob (30) anchored the reply.
Paul Hunworth (28) and captain Chris Cook (31) then added substance to the middle order before a late unbeaten 19 from Jeffries got Ardleigh to 212-7 with one ball to spare.
