Dereham Town 4-2 Tilbury

TILBURY were beaten 4-2 by Dereham Town as a 15-minute Sam Borrer hat-trick completed a topsy-turvy afternoon in Norfolk.
The Dockers, who had striker Kurt Smith sent off after just 15 minutes, led at half-time but couldn’t hold on for the victory as Dereham’s man advantage proved decisive.
The Magpies went in front after just 10 minutes, as Luke Tuttle slotted home from the penalty spot.
Then came Smith’s dismissal, as he was given his marching orders for raising his arms in the penalty box.
Matt Game levelled the scores just after the half-hour mark and three minutes before the break things got even better when on-loan Gillingham striker Greg Cundle marked his debut with a goal.
But Tilbury couldn’t hold on, and three goals in 15 minutes after half-time ended their hopes of an upset.
Borrer took over, netting three impressive strikes by the hour mark, to give Dereham the advantage, and one they could hold onto.
Tilbury: Bogard, Mead, Glozier, D Smith, Nightingill, Game, Cook, Carlile, Richmond, Cundle, K Smith
