THURROCK Harrier William Adeyeye struck double gold at the England Indoor Championships in Sheffield.
The William Edwards School pupil set a new personal best of 14.66m to win under-15 boys shot-put gold, a throw that was the best in the UK this year.
He then topped the podium again in the long jump where he set another PB of 6.08m, the second best jump in the UK this winter.
Team-mate Theo Adesina finished seventh in the under-15 boys long jump with a best of 5.67m before sustaining a leg injury that prevented him from continuing.
