WILLIAM Edwards School reached the English Schools Cross Country Cup regional finals, competing against the best schools in the south of England.
The school’s junior girls, intermediate boys and intermediate girls teams all qualified for the regional finals that were held in St Albans.
The junior girls team were made up of five Year 7 girls, who still have another year in the age group, racing against Year 8 girls.
They finished sixth overall which was an amazing achievement.
They team included: Rebecca West, Demi Briggs, Shola Taiwo, Holly Dowsett-Ward and Savannah Ryan.
The intermediate boys team finished in 15th place with Taylor Newell leading them home in 15th spot, while the intermediate girls were 13th with Amber Pullinger having a great individual run to finish in 10th position.
