A MASTERFUL innings of 150 not out from Belhus’ John Lewis was the cornerstone in their sizeable total. He found able support in the form of Nick Marns who made 42 in partnership with him.
Lewis’ personal best however was not quite enough to inspire the Belhus bowling attack to similar heights and they could only draw.
Ardleigh’s reply of 190 was never a threat however and young Belhus’ spinner Sheraz Shahid bowled beautifully to capture four wickets.
