GYMNASTICS: Thurrock Gymnastics Club have expanded to new and larger premises in Ormiston Park Academy in Aveley with new gymnastics equipment.

The club cater for beginners to advanced with excellent facilities and a fully qualified coaching team who are CRB/DBS checked.

Head coach Barry Shervill has been coaching gymnastics for 30 years and in that time has had 5 gymnasts in national squad as well as county, regional, and national champions, and one gymnast that went on to represent Great Britain in the Olympics. He said: Our club provides a safe and secure environment for children aged 5 - 15 years old to participate and improve their gymnastic skills.

"As a sport, Gymnastics is a wonderfully sustainable source of creativity, fun and achievement. Whatever the personal goals, we will support and encourage our members to achieve and exceed these targets."

The club currently hold hourly sessions every Saturday from 9.30am – 12.30pm and Sunday from 9.30am – 11.30pm and due to the great demand we are expanding to provide longer hours and additional week days.
