Thurrock's sea anglers have been busy this week.
Here's what they have been catching - and where.
Thamesmead: Eddie Sharp reports big flounders and the occasional whiting are being caught.
Erith: Some small codling of around the 1lb mark have been landed at Morrison’s Jetty, plus flounders and whiting.
Gravesend: Graham, from Dolphin Angling, reports codling to 1.5lb and whiting to 1lb being caught, along with flounders and eels.
Rainham and Dagenham: Good numbers of eels and flounders are showing at Coldharbour Lane and Dagenham Market.
Lakeside: Pin whiting and flounders are providing sport at the Thurrock venue.
Tilbury: Better-sized whiting and flounders have been landed this week at World’s End and East Beach.
Grays Wharf: Anglers have been catching codling, whiting and the occasional flounder.
