SHRIMPERS: SOUTHEND United have completed a loan swoop for Sunderland defender John Egan ahead of tomorrow’s clash with Wycombe Wanderers at Roots Hall.
The seventh-placed Shrimpers have been hit by a series of injuries in their back four.
But 21-year-old Egan was due to train with Blues today and boss Phil Brown hopes to have the centre-back available to take on the struggling Chairboys.
