NON LEAGUE: ANDRE McCollin returned to haunt Grays Athletic as he bagged Kingstonian’s four goals as they romped to a 4-1 victory over Blues.
Defeat to the early pace-setters saw Ryan Kirby’s side slip to ninth in the Ryman Premier, having picked up just two points in their last four games.
The trip to South West London started well for Grays. Chuck Duru gave them the lead after 13 minutes when he was played through on goal by Joao Carlos. But on the stroke of half-time, McCollin – who made three appearances for Grays in 2008 – levelled.
Eight minutes into the second half, McCollin put the hosts in front following a well-worked free kick and five minutes later, the striker had his hat-trick after showing strength to hold of Ryan Maxwell.
Kirby made a change, bringing Jack West on for Duru, but in the 66th minute McCollin made it 4-1.
Grays Athletic: Johnson; Pope, Anderson, Baker, Nightingill (Ramos-Gonzalez); Maxwell (Cruickshank), Duru (West), Beaney, Carlos; Small, Hammond.
