KARATE: THE Grays dojo of Yamaguchi Goju is celebrating two successful tournaments after students took part in the Swedish kata trophy and the Kaizen Cup.

The Swedish kata trophy, held in Stockholm attracted over 600 competitors with fighters coming from most European countries – as well as a squad from Japan.

With the standard of the tournament being particularly high, many of the students did very well to reach the final rounds.

With two students even managing to win awards, Anne Sage, won silver, whilst Kevan Alderton also claimed a bronze in his.
