Gateway ABC fighter puts his rival on the canvas

BOXING: GATEWAY ABC boxer Ryan Earley extended his unbeaten amateur run to three wins with victory over Wisbech’s D Kapctaniak. Earley had his opponent on the canvas in the first round following a great right hand, with Kapctaniak taking a count of eight.

But the Thurrock fighter never got carried away despite this early success and went on to produce a mature boxing display ending in a comprehensive points win. Trainer Chico Bates was pleased with his young boxer who showed great maturity after the knock down. Afterwards the fighter thanked all his travelling supporter who who made the trip to Ipswich.
