A TUBE sex pest who repeatedly terrorised a legal secretary on her morning commute has been spared jail.

Eren Erenbilge, 27, groped his 23-year-old victim on two separate occasions as she made her way to work on the Central Line.

Southwark Crown Court heard how Erenbilge had been stalking the woman for more than a month before making his advances.

Erenbilge was convicted of two counts of sexual assault and, according to a probation report, poses 'a high risk of serious harm to the public in terms of sexual offending'.

But he was let off with an eight month prison sentence suspended for two years at Southwark Crown Court.

Judge Deborah Taylor also ordered him to sign on for a one-to-one course to address his sexual offending and banned him from approaching his victim.

She told him: "This is disturbing and upsetting behaviour.

“The fact that you followed her, a stranger, and targeted her over a period of about a month is an aggravating feature of these offences."

But she added: “I have considered the circumstances of these offences, and while unpleasant and disturbing for the victim were carried out in public and without any physical violence."

Erenbilge, of Jarrah Cottages, London Road, Purfleet, Essex, denied two counts of sexual assault, the first between October 1 and November 13, 2008, and the second on November 14, 2008.
