A CONSULTATION on the options for regeneration of the Garrison Estate in Purfleet are set to get underway, according to Cllr Tunde Ojetola.
Cllr Ojetola, who is cabinet member for Housing, made the announcement at the full council meeting on Wednesday April 29 as an update on the regeneration of the estate.
Cllr Ojetola said: “The initial feasibility study is in the process of completion and several options have been identified and will be considered in partnership with local stakeholders and local residents.
“Residents will be consulted through various consultation events over the summer months and ward members will also be involved in examining the various options in close detail.
“We will continue to engage residents of the estate and keep them informed through newsletters, leaflets and relevant news displayed in the local housing office.”
