THE Orsett Hall plays host to a Northern Soul and Motown event on Saturday February 28.
Organisers have secured a set from DJ Dave Evison, a resident DJ at Wigan Casino in the 1970s when the club was attracting up to a 1000 people a week.
There will also be sets from Paul McKay, Phil Rains, Eddie Paget and Rob Messer.
The doors open from 8pm to 1am.

They are also on sale at Genie Records in Clements Arcade, The Broadway, Leigh on Sea, and Thurrock DJ supplies on Crammavill Street, Grays.
You can also buy tickets on the night for £12.50.
