Channel 4 Dispatches is expected to air a special investigation into some of the biggest A-list celebrities and comedians in the UK.

It comes after viewers spotted that the broadcaster added a 90-minute Dispatches special for Saturday evening, a prime spot.

The preview to the Channel 4 show gives no hints as to what viewers can expect with just the usual “Investigative series covering issues in British society, politics, international current affairs, health, religion and the environment” in place.

However, there are reports the investigation show will highlight the bad behaviour of a number of well-known household names, that could be career-ending.

Channel 4 Dispatches to air special celebrity investigation

As speculation around the show has grown on social media, Channel 4 newsreader Krishnan Guru-Murthy made viewers talk after tweeting “Something’s Up” with a screenshot of the TV Guide showing the Dispatches special.

However, Guru-Murthy was quick to delete the Tweet just an hour later.

Whilst viewers wait to watch the Channel 4 Dispatches special, one TV insider has given some information on what to expect: “This programme has been years in the making and is being edited up to the last minute. It has the potential to halt the career of at least one celebrity with the contents”, according to The Mirror.

This is not the first time Dispatches have investigated celebrities, with the Channel 4 program just last year airing ‘Jeremy Kyle Show: Death On Daytime’ that highlights the treatment faced by guests and staff.
