Motorists in south Essex will have a dozen road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

Thurrock motorists will have 12 road closures to avoid this week - and four of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that 12 closures are due to start this week.

The closures are as follows:

• A13, from 10pm March 8 to 5am March 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A13 westbound from junction Mardyke to A1306 - lane closure for electrical works.

• A13, from 10pm March 9 to 5am March 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A13 westbound from A1012 to junction Mardyke - lane closure for electrical works and repair of message sign.

• M25, from 10pm March 9 to 5am March 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anticlockwise, junction 30 - lane closure for repair of message sign and electrical testing.

• A1089, from 10pm March 9 to 5am March 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A1089 northbound from A126 to A13 - lane closure for parapet repair.

• A13, from 10pm March 9 to 5am March 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A13 eastbound from junction Mardyke to A1012 - lane closure for electrical testing and repair of message sign.

• A1089, from 11pm March 10 to 5am March 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A1089 southbound from Asda Roundabout to Tilbury Docks - lane closure for electrical works.

• A1089, from 11pm March 10 to 5am March 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A1089 northbound from Tilbury docks to Asda roundabout - lane closure for electrical works.

• A13, from 10pm March 11 to 6am March 12, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 31 - entry slip road closure for structural works, diversion via National Highways network.

• A13, from 10pm March 13 to 5am March 14, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A13 southbound from junction A126 to junction Mardyke - lane, entry and exit slip road closures for carriageway repairs.

• A1089, from 10pm March 14 to 5.30am March 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A1089 northbound and southbound from St Andrews Road to Asda Roundabout - lane closure with traffic signals for joint inspections.

• A1089, from 10pm March 16 to 5am March 18, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A13 eastbound from junction A1089 to junction A126 - carriageway, link road, lane closures for cyclical maintenance.

• A13, from 10pm March 18 to 6am March 19, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A282 northbound from West Tunnel to M25 Anticlockwise, junction 31 - exit slip closure for technology works, diversion via National Highways network.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
