FIREFIGHTERS wearing breathing apparatus entered a smoke-filled Thurrock flat on Friday evening after being told someone might be inside.
Two crews from Grays were called just after 6pm to Lewes Close in the town where smoke was seen issuing from a flat, activating smoke alarms.
It was reported that there was a possibility of someone inside.
Firefighters used one hose reel to tackle the incident which was dealt with inside 20 minutes. everyone was accounted for.
