ONE of the Commission for Social Care Inspectorate's major concerns is that many homes cannot produce evidence that staff have been checked with the Criminal Records Bureau.
Family Mosiac's Trudi Tayeg explained that it was something that was very time-consuming.
She said: "The process can take six to nine months.
"You have to wait but in that time you may lose a good carer who may be snapped up by another home.
"With more and more staff coming from abroad, the problem will only get worse."
