A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm after a fight in a pub.
Trouble broke out at the Old Court House pub in King Street, Stanford-le-Hope, and a 21-year-old man was left with head injuries.
He was taken to Basildon Hospital for treatment following the brawl.
A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing GBH. He was released on bail until November pending further investigation.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the fight, which happened at 12.15am on Saturday, and anyone with information can contact PC Toni Fisk on 01375 391212.
