THE Bata Heritage Centre is set to host a free open day.
Visitors will get the opportunity to look around the unique site, exploring its social history and important and architectural heritage.
Residents can hear about the Heritage Lottery funded project that will see the smoke damaged collection restored and a new mobile exhibition developed once a permanent home is found. The open day will be in the former Bata factory Administration Building, Princess Margaret Road, East Tilbury.
