BONNYGATE Primary School are celebrating their first league and cup double in 17 years.
The school, which is based in Arisdale Avenue, South Ockendon, won all of their games throughout the season.
As a result, Bonnygate were the Western Area League champions and Thurrock Cup winners.
The school were able to win two competitions in the same term for the first time since 2001.
Mark Hodder, Bonnygate’s caretaker and team manager, was full of admiration for his side.
He said: “Well done to Bonnygate’s football team for winning the Thurrock Cup and Western Area League.
“Bonnygate have finished the season unbeaten, winning all their games.
“This is the first time since 2001 that the school's football team has won the cup double.
“Bonnygate scored a total of 23 goals and only conceded one.
“We are privileged to have a great team.”
