Labour Leader Jeremy Corbyn will be visiting Thurrock this weekend.
Party representatives from the borough have confirmed Mr Corbyn will be in Thurrock on Saturday but have yet to confirm exact details of his visit.
The last time the Labour leader visited Essex was exactly one week before the general election in June.
While gatherin momentum in the final days before the campaign which would see the party deliver a surprising blow to the Conservative majority, Corbyn delivered a speech in Pitsea.
He used the opportunity of the packed room at Pitsea Leisure Centre to discuss the Labour party’s Brexit strategy and the importance of a Labour government to ensure the outcome that was good for all the people of the UK, not just the rich and wealthy.
Mr Corbyn has just had a very busy conference in Brighton but is keen to build on the party's momentum by visiting key constituencies.
In the general election, Labour candidate John Kent lost narrowly to Conservative MP Jackie Doyle-Price by 345 votes.
We will share more information as soon as it becomes available.
