AN accident saw two lanes blocked on the A13 this afternoon, with a man suffering a broken leg.
The crash is believed to have involved a lorry shortly after 12pm on the Southend bound carriageway at the Orsett Cock junction and closed two lane as a result.
The Gazette has contacted the East of England Ambulance Service, which has confirmed it is in attendance.
A spokesman confirmed a male driver was taken to Basildon Hospital, with a suspected broken leg.
The air ambulance was originally dispatched to the scene, but was stood down shortly before arrival.
Traffic is queuing back as far as the Stifford Interchange.
