Police investigating an incident where a traffic warden was racially abused in Grays have charged a man.
The victim, a man in his 50s, was putting a ticket on a silver Audi A6 parked in High Street at around 3.55pm on October 14, 2016.
As he did so a man approached and racially abused him.
A man was arrested on suspicion of a public order offence at an address in Grays just after 7.20am today (Tuesday, January 31).
Damian Skiba, 28, of Seabrooke Rise, Grays has been charged with racially aggravated harassment.
He is due before Basildon Magistrates’ Court on March 9, 2017.
