POLICE are appealing for help after a man was robbed at a train station.
The incident happened at Grays railway station on December 23, between 11pm and 11.40pm, the victim, a 22-year-old man, was standing outside Grays station and started speaking to a man he did not know.
He then made his way onto platform 2 and was followed by the man he had been speaking to. The man then grabbed him and assaulted him.
The victim lost consciousness and when he came round he found that his belongings had been stolen. These items included a wallet with cash and personal cards in it.
He sustained minor injuries and did not require hospital treatment.
The offender is Asian, around 17 years old, 5ft 8ins to 5 9ins tall, slim build.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who saw what happened or who has any information about the incident.
