TWO level crossings will be temporarily closed while Network Rail carry out necessary works.
On Sunday November 13 between 1am and 6am, the level crossing on Princess Margaret Road, East Tilbury will be closed to rectify an ongoing fault.
The alternative route for vehicles during this time will be via Princess Margaret Road, Muckingford Road, Blue Anchor Lane, Church Road and Station Road.
The crossing on London Road, Purfleet will be closed on Sunday November 27 from12.30am until midday to allow for railway maintenance work.
A diversion via London Road A1090, Tank Hill Road, Arterial Road A1306, and Stonehouse Lane A1090 will be in place during this time.
Network Rail and Thurrock Council apologise for any inconvenience caused while these essential works are completed.
