FAMILIES are being encouraged to join Halloween activities this half term.

Thurrock Council is holding special Halloween inspired family activities at Grangewaters Outdoor Education Centre, Buckles Lane, South Ockendon.

The events will take place from Tuesday October 25 to Thursday October 27 with a variety of sessions taking place keep youngsters entertained, including pumpkin carving, the spooky trail and sailing aboard the ghost ship.

Sue MacPherson, councillor for neighboourhoods said: “Following the success of their summer activities, I’m thrilled that Grangewaters will be putting on more activities for families to enjoy.

“Make sure you head down to Grangewaters for a spook-tacular time this half term!”

Activities are priced at £7 per session or £10 for two sessions on the same day. All activities are aimed at those aged eight years old and over.

Those between six and eight years old can take part if they fit the safety kit and are supervised by their adult.
