Police are seeking witnesses after a man was robbed of thousands by a BMW getaway car outside Lakeside.
The victim, a 20-year-old man from Birmingham, was approached by three black men in a black BMW, who threatened him and stole a four figure sum of cash.
The three men then fled the area in the vehicle at speed.
The robbery happened near the Ikea car park at around 8pm on Tuesday August 25 .
Detective Inspector Jim Adams of Grays CID said: "This appears to have been an isolated incident where the victim has been targeted by the men.”
Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have information about what happened. Anyone that can help is asked to contact Grays CID on Essex Police 101.
