A TASTE of China came to the Hathaway Academy when pupils took part in a Mandarin lesson, organised by Academy Transformation Trust.
Little Dragons Chinese Language School taught children calligraphy, dragon mask making, songs, dances and tai chi.
The workshop was held to coincide with the Chinese new year. Helen Pollock, from Little Dragons, said: “It’s brilliant to see how much the children enjoy learning about Chinese language and culture.
“Economists are unanimous that this is China’s century and it’s great the trust is giving its pupils a window into this fascinating culture.”
