THURROCK Marching Brass has confirmed the November winner for the Jack Petchey Achievement Award.
Kelsea Mepham, pictured, joined the band in 2010 and has become an important member of the team, taking part in several parades.
Kelsea was selected to take on the leadership role of Guard Captain in 2012 and remains in that position today.
She has dedicated the £200 award to go towards the purchase of frame for screens to be used throughout all winter and summer programmes for Thurrock Marching Brass.
Corps director, Ken Mansfield, said there had been four “incredible finalists” for the November 2014 Jack Petchey Achievement Award.
