THE Laughing Pod Comedy Club is set to be launched this month.
Award-winning comedians will take the stage on Saturday, October 18, at the Orsett Hall.
These include Patrick Monahan, the winner of ITV’s Show Me the Funny and who has since performed internationally – from Dubai to Estonia and Barbados.
He has also recently appeared on TV shows Splash and Dance for Sports Relief.
Patrick will be joined by Andrew Lawrence, who has appeared on Live at the Apollo, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow and Stand Up of the Week.
Andrew was runnerup in the 2003 So You Think You’re Funny competition and was also awarded the BBC’s New Act of the Year competition in 2004.
The line-up will also include Simon Evans, who has appeared on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow and Stand up of the Week.
Doors open at 7pm at the Orsett Hall, in Prince Charles Avenue.
Tickets are priced at £15.
