Thirteen seats remain empty at Thurrock full council meeting
THIRTEEN councillors failed to turn up at a full council meeting in Thurrock last night.
A number of councillors were unable to attend for health reasons.
Councillor Aaron Kiely, Labour representative for Ockendon did not give apologies for not attending the meeting – the others did.
Altogether, eight full council meetings are planned for the civic year which all 49 councillors are asked to attend.
