A SCHOOL leaver has followed in her sister’s footsteps in not missing a single day of school.

Cayton Bennett, 11, left East Tilbury Juniors with her head held high after receiving an award recognising her 100 per cent attendance during four years of key stage two learning.

In September she will move up to St Clere’s School and join sister Brea, who won the same award when she left East Tilbury last year.

Cayton, of Princess Avenue, East Tilbury, was also a librarian at the school and achieved bronze, silver and gold awards during her time at the school.

Mum Jane said she wasn’t sure exactly what she doing to make her children so punctual but said she was very proud of them.

An achievement yes, but also lucky not to have had any of the childhood illnesses or other ailments that affect children in term time, if at all.

For success, attitude is as important as ability! It just shows what can be achieved, if you put your mind to it...and don't have namby pamby parents!

This is a fantastic effort and Cayton and her family deserve praise and reward...what a fabulous role model!
