X Factor stars and a Pussycat Doll on the bill for this year's T Fest

Thurrock Gazette: Misha B topping the bill at this year's T Fest. Misha B topping the bill at this year's T Fest.

X FACTOR stars Danyl Johnson and Misha B are joining Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt on the bill for this year's Thurrock Festival.

Organisers announced the line-up for the annual two-day festival at Grays Beach Park on Facebook last night.

They described it as the "best yet".

Misha B starred on the X Factor in 2011, two years after Danyl Johnson featured. This will be Danyl's second appearance at T Fest, after he headlined the event in 2012.

Kimberly Wyatt is performing a DJ set.

Loveable Rogues, Henrietta and and Sweet Chix- all of whom made their names on Britain's Got Talent - are also part of this year's packed line up which features some top local talent, too.

Popular Stanford band The Heaters are among the headliners, while Danny White, Louis Sorrell-Wilde, Tall Dark Friend, Karis Angels, Funky Voices and DJ Leon Rowland are also part of the line up.

The free event takes place on Saturday, July 26 and Sunday, July 27.

Around the main music stage there will be a host of other activities taking place. Organisers are anticipating that 12,000 people could turn out across the weekend.

T-Fest 'could' be the best event in Thurrock David, if they didn't have BGT and X factor dross on there. Local bands would go down well, and groups and performers that can actually sing and perform.
Proper musicians is always far better than plastic, fake tanned, dimwitted losers. NUFF SAID!

And don't forget the happy clappy hallelujah chorus of the gospels groups, should be at least 40 of them.

I think you will find that the karis- May darling foundation, named in honour of the daughter the family lost, the youth groups, dance schools and all the local groups will find your comments disgraceful.. Why not let those that value and enjoy coming together as a community to do just that. I don't think you will be missed. Great line-up and great local talent and family fun. The best event Essex not just Thurrock. Well done!!

Thurrock Bob and drunken mater (names sum it up) why do you think that X Factor is one of the most popular tv shows unfortunately millions don't agree with you. People want something to do and great entertainment and T-Fest delivers that. If you simply want local artists go to the Standford festival. It does what it does well but you wouldn't spend the whole day there would you? Over 3,000 people follow t-Fest the most popular event in the boroughs history. Everyone loves T-Fest apart from you that is but I don't think organisers will lose sleep over that.

Paul, if you are going to abuse my name please have the decency to spell it correctly, it's got an S before the T and I'm not having ago at the festival I'm just pointing out that Steel Drum groups and Rappers now represent the population of Thurrock.
