PUPILS from Herringham Primary Academy in Chadwell St Mary got the chance to learn new dance routines.

The pupils got to put together their own personalised routines using everyday movements, with help from theatre firm West End in Schools, which travels the country teaching children to dance.

Headteacher Sam Otto said: “To see the students involved in dance workshops, bringing to life their own ideas and thoughts, was nice to see.

"The pupils had a great day and some were surprised how creative they actually were!”
