POLICE are concerned for the welfare of a man from Suffolk who they believe could be in South Ockendon.
Gary Aris, 23, from the Bilderston area in west Suffolk has not been seen for the past week nor made contact with his family.
The last text he sent to a family member indicated that he "was not in a good place” and he may self-harm.
Gary has connections and friends in South Ockendon so officers believe he may have travelled there.
A police spokesman said: "Police are concerned for Gary’s welfare and are keen to find him to be assured that he is safe and well.
"He is described as white, approximately 5ft 6ins tall, of slim build, brown hair, a piercing in his left ear and tattoos on both arms."
Anyone with information in connection with Gary Aris’ whereabouts is urged to contact officers at Bury St Edmunds police station on 101.
