POLICE are looking for a man suspected of stealing meat from a South Ockendon Co-op.

The man, pictured, walked into the store on Canterbury Parade at around 8.30pm on January 6, filled a shopping basket with meat from a display fridge and then walked back out - making no attempt to pay.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Pc Lee Wayland, or his colleagues at Grays, on 101. Alternatively, call independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
