TICKETS are selling fast for a night of old school soul and jazz at the Old Regent Ballroom.
The Stanford-le-Hope venue is hosting popular band Soul Factory on Saturday night.
Soul Factory supported hit US band The Drifters during their 2007 appearances in the UK and now the old school soul and funk band are heading to Thurrock.
Described as the South East’s premier soul and funk band, the group will be playing songs from their extensive covers repertoire which includes hits by Earth, Wind and Fire, Luther Vandross, Chaka Khan, Kool and the Gang and Billy Paul.
The six-piece band, fronted by Malcolm Walling and Emily Reed, will be supported by soul and funk DJ Matt Jackson, who will perform once the band have finished.
Tickets for the show, which starts at 8pm, cost £12 and can be purchased by going to www.theoldregentballroom.com.
