South Essex men to appear at court after lorry thefts plot

SIX south Essex men charged with plotting a series of lorry thefts across the county will appear at court tomorrow.

Tommy Clampin, 37, from Dock Road, Grays, David Steingold, 39 of East Street, South Stifford, Dean Leeks, 36, of Cavendish Gardens, Aveley, Grant Leeks, 40, of Sudbury Road, Downham, Steven Cochrane, 40, of Carlisle Way, Pitsea, and Richard Chapman, 37, of Copper Beech Road, South Ockendon, will appear for a plea and case management hearing at Chelmsford Crown Court.

The offences took place between June 2012 and October 2012.
