Police urge public to be alert after thefts from two boats at Thurrock Yacht Club

POLICE have urged people to be alert after thefts from boats at Thurrock Yacht Club. 

Two boats at the club at Kiverts Wharf in Argent Street had items stolen from them between Thursday, January 31 and Sunday, February 3. 

Officers say there has been a spate thefts from boats around the country recently and, as a result, want people to report any suspicious activity in boatyards. 

Anyone with information about the thefts should call Grays police on 101.
