ORSETT Hall has a top tribute night lined up for chick flick fans next month.
The hotel’s Garden Room will play host to the Grease versus Dirty Dancing event on Friday, February 22.
The action kicks of at 6.30pm and lasts through to 1am the next morning, with a three course meal and half a bottle of house wine included in the ticket price.
The first part of the night is dedicated to Grease, and will feature all the hits from Broadway musical, which was made into a film in 1978, starring John Travolta.
Its soundtrack went on to be one of the most successful in Hollywood’s history.
The second half of the event transports the audience to the summer of 1962, and the whirlwind romance of Dirty Dancing.
Released in 1987, the film tells the story of Baby and her family’s vacation at Kellerman’s Holiday Park, where she meets Johnny, a dance instructor.
The show will feature all the hits from the film, including She’s like the Wind, Hungry Eyes, and Time of My Life.
